Happy February! February has arrived and we are already half way through the 2011-12 school year. Finals have been completed and we start afresh with a new semester. This last semester always seems to fly by and graduation sneaks upon us. It is imperative that our students maintain their focus and continue to maintain GPA’s and complete the needed graduation requirements that will allow them to compete for positions in the work force and post secondary programs. A strong finish is our goal! We are in our last month of Winter sports and activities with only four weeks left until playoffs and state. All of our teams continue to push themselves to greater heights and are working hard to see stepped improvement daily. The boys and girls that compete have a great sense of pride in their school and community and appreciate all of the support you give them. Dance, Cheer, Drama, Band, Choir and Art will all be participating in activities and competitions this spring. We will keep you posted on playoff and state competitions as they arise. We would like to recognize some staff members that can often go unnoticed. It can be easy for us to dismiss the needs of our existing building, because after all we are getting a new school. Our maintenance and custodial staff are doing a great job. Each day these folks clean, repair, rebuild, set up and take down. Without the efforts of this group, it would be difficult to function in this facility.
