This website allows you to look up TV shows and see their age-level recommendation, as well as comments about the Good Stuff (good messages, role models), and the stuff to watch out for (violence, sex, consumerism, drugs).
Obviously, as the parent, you make the decision, but I'm sure many will appreciate the input of the site.
