The Teaching and Learning Department is responsible for curriculum development, instructional improvement, instructional staff development, district improvement plans, textbook adoption, student assessment, and implementation of No Child Left Behind mandates. The department also oversees the Talented & Gifted, Title 1, Migrant Education, and English as a Second Language programs.
