Improving literacy and behavior-Bus drivers for the Welches schools now each hold 30-40 books for their children to read during their ride. When students get tired of the selection, drivers often swap bags. The Books on Buses program is co-sponsored by the Hoodland Women’s Club and Friends of the Hoodland Library.
