Dragster 1 SHS students design, build, and race their own dragsters - Sandy High Advanced Manufacturing students tested the aerodynamic properties of a car during their CO2 Dragster competition on January 28. Books on buses Improving literacy and behavior - Bus drivers for the Welches schools now each hold 30-40 books for their children to read during their ride. When students get tired of the selection, drivers often swap bags. The Books on Buses program is co-sponsored by the Hoodland Women’s Club and Friends of the Hoodland Library.
