Rainbow and Color Runs!

On Friday, Sept. 26, Welches School held its annual Rainbow Run while Cedar Ridge MIddle School and Boring Middle School held Color Runs, where students ran laps through bursts of colorful powder.

Welches School Principal Kendra Payne said: "Thank you so much to our families and community for supporting our Rainbow Run! Our volunteers did an amazing job organizing the run, tracking laps and supporting our fundraiser. The kids had a blast! They ran hard, laughed and enjoyed a colorful day in the sun. We appreciate all the support and are looking forward to bringing another Right Brain Initiative artist to Welches with the proceeds raised."

Cedar Ridge Vice Principal Doug Lewis said: "We had a small army of volunteers that came out on the day of the run that helped with set up, tracking laps, cheering on the kids, and cleaning up after. The PTC teamed with us set some fundraising goals and associated prizes for reaching those goals. The funds will go to Student rewards Activity Days, Student Store Items."

Boring Middle School Principal Morgan MacGregor said: "We want to send a huge thank you for the incredible support shown during our first-ever Color Run fundraiser on Friday! Not only did our students and staff have a blast with this wonderful community-building activity, but the outpouring of generosity from our community was simply astounding. Your enthusiasm and commitment to Boring Middle School's success is truly appreciated. Go Bears!"
