Since late January, students at Welches School from kindergarten through eighth grade have dug their hands into learning all about ceramics. Artist Beth Wilson visited the school for three sessions, leading students through the process of sculpting and glazing their ceramics as part of the Right Brain Initiative. The program ​was made possible through support from the Welches Parent Teacher Community ​Organization, which help raise funds through the annual Rainbow Run that fixed and improved the ​school's kiln.
