Nearly 150 golfers ventured to Welches on Friday, Sept. 18 to raise money at the Art Skipper Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament and benefit the No Pioneer Left Behind Scholarship Fund. The event raises thousands of dollars every September to assist more than 200 students per year at Sandy High School with fees associated with school-sponsored athletics and activities, helping them have the opportunity to grow beyond their experiences in the classroom without financial obstacles.
